Safety information

Keep clear of exposed output connectors and battery terminals because of electric shock risk.

Lead-acid batteries can emit explosive gases; follow this guide and the battery manufacturer instructions before use.

Disconnect the supply before working on the fuse.

Keep smoking, flames and sparks away from batteries and engines.

Do not charge a frozen battery.

If removing a vehicle battery, turn off vehicle accessories and disconnect the grounded terminal first.

Match the battery voltage to the charger output rating and follow the battery manufacturer charging precautions.

Keep the charger away from the battery as far as the DC cables permit; do not put it directly above or below the battery.

Keep ventilation unobstructed and do not operate the charger in an enclosed space.

Do not install the charger on or above combustible surfaces.

Install suitable external over-current protection and follow the supplied regional installation and safety instructions for wiring and protection ratings.

Keep the input and output connectors accessible for disconnection.

Leave at least 10 cm clearance around the five exposed surfaces after installation and keep ventilation openings at least 2 mm and unobstructed.

Wear protective equipment including gloves during wiring; finish wiring before starting the vehicle and switch off the charger before changing wiring.

Use a flat surface or a secure mount, tighten the battery connections correctly, and route/bundle cables to avoid overheating.

Configure the actual vehicle battery voltage and chemistry in the Anker app before use.

Do not connect two alternator chargers to a single portable power station.

Wait until the vehicle interior cools below 60 degrees C before using the charger if that temperature has been exceeded.
